New Photoshop Hobby

OK, so this is my first post on these forums so don't be too harsh,

Me and my friends were sitting getting blazed the other day watching TV and one of those Anti-Pot ad's came on, you know, the depressing ones that make you feel like a loser for smoking pot. So we decided to go to their website to see what kind of propaganda they had, it was pretty funny actually. So then we came up with this inspired idea to take abovetheinfluence.com and turn it into a parody "belowtheinfluence.com" so I made this as a test background, hope you enjoy it!

Good start, I look forward to seeing what else you do with it. I just hope the person that owns that domain (belowtheinfluence.com) doesn't sue you!

Good point about the legalities, I'll have to check into that, don't want to step on anyones toes. Just thought it might be funny to make a counter culture site that stoners could appreciate lol, Thanks for the reply, we seem to be looking at the same threads tonight!

I don't honestly think you have anything to worry about unless you post the website publicly. If you type in that domain name you are redirected to a pet supply site....so its not the primary site name.

The legalities might be a bit tough though.

Hhahahaha thats hilarious! Ive been wanting to make a domain for any of those anit-drug ads. As for the legalities, you have nothing to worry about. Nobody is coming on this site and seuing you for make a photoshop image of their sites name. Good job though hahahah

Yeah man!! That's fantastic. I myself am an animator and I've been trying to come up with some ideas lately... I really wanna do something pro pot, but I want something that's never really been done before, Dig? Not just your average "I like pot" type of thing... Something... Something special.

Totally dig the background... Can't use it though cause I have a widescreen monitor, and it gets all distorted and funky lookin

Heh thanks guys, I thought it was pretty sweet for only my first try, I'm gonna keep on working with it and see what I can make up, thanks for all the props!

P.S - homemadebubbler, great idea about the domain! I didn't know you could do anything like that, I suppose i'll have to search around and acquaint myself with the site a little bit better,
