I tried a new writing style out, and I'm not to sure how I feel about this one, so any criticism or comments are appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Sit back with the octopus spine
Demanding all the respect a nazi would get
Fretting over the inevitable
Your silent creed of intolerance
And despicably change your pace

Proudly fly your peace sign sticker
On the way to the voting center
Cast a ballot for your machine gun colleagues
Making love to the idea of war

Find yourself in a bottomless hole
Slipping to the epitomy of the hipocritical disgrace
Such potential that went to waste
Such potential that went to waste

So it sounds like your talking about someone who is a hypocrite correct?

I like it in a dark kind of way though I have one question.....what is an octopus spine?

Well there is no spine to an octopus so I was basically just trying to say spineless in a more descriptive way.

I could have also interpretted octopus spine as being laid back considering the nedxt line is to demand obedience.

I caught that spineless thing right off, but only because there was an Octopus thing on Discovery Channel last night. Other then that I would have been lost.

Well the octopus spine was a pretty obvious metaphor for spineless. So let me interpret, it is about someone going to vote in favor of the war, yet they dont want to go to war themselves and have a peace sign sticker in their window? Hence hypocrite and spineless...
