| The goal of any regular drug user, with the exception of those suffering greatly due to drug use, should be to make sobriety itself a "trip". When one is distanced from "normal" reality, the mind is finally freed of any restraints that would disallow them to view society realistically. When sobriety becomes a drug itself, no matter what state of mind a person endures, a truly realistic view of society is constructed. Only then is one able to become an observer of society rather than a puppet of time... and truly progressive potential changes are finally recognized. |

What your talking about though sounds very close to enlightenment, commonly recognised with Buddhism and Taoism. Personally, i'm not sure if THC is gonna be able to get you enlightened, but perhaps if you can just keep that form of clear, conscious mind that you describe then that would be one's own personal enlightment. Stay outta politics though. When you try to change the system from within, its not you who changes the system, its the system that eventually changes you. Go on a quest around whatever country your in, and just help people out! That be sick! | |

| I'm not sure you fully understand. I'm not talking about changing politics specifically. What it's basically saying is that only when sobriety is thought of as a "high" in itself people will be able to realize truly progressive changes that should/could be made in our society. I'm not saying there is a true view of society, I'm saying acquiring this state of mind allows a person to view society realistically, not from within the illusion of reality that most live in. Now, if political figures acquire this state of mind (and perhaps Buddhism is the only way for some to do so) changes in politics could be made. |
