Happy Friday,

I write a lot (one of the symptoms of my hyper-activity). I write non-fiction, poetry and fiction, fiction being the hardest for me. Please keep in mind that quantity does not always equal quality, so will totally understand if you find the need to "quiet me down". Or just say it's awful, I promise I won't cry.

Am making my first creative post a poem, mostly because poetry is the easiest (and most enjoyable) form of writing for me. Hope you like it too. Or at least don't hate it.

Dangerous Place

The Universe
is a dangerous
place.

Did you ever consider
the bare-threaded physics
that keeps
everything
spinning just right?

I’m certainly frightened
at the prospect
of colliding
with anything
from out of this world.

But what’s more disturbing
is how the Earth
keeps moving
and spewing out
her boiling guts.
The winds of change
bring deadly rains
or simply blow
your town away.

There is no place
that is really safe
so do your best
to watch your step
because . . .

The Universe
is a dangerous
place.
