| So Ive been saving up my AVB for quite awhile now. I have plenty to have some fun with but Im not sure which way I should try. I have over an OZ of it and Id prefer to use it all at once so cannabutter seems the way. Question is though does AVB make good cannabutter? Is it a major waste compared to eating the AVB itself? I dont like the idea of choking down anything gross but I dont want to throw away alot of potency by avoiding it. Any tips for ol 'Toke?

Cannabutter would be the best way to go, especially if you want to use a lot at once. I've never made cannabutter with ABV before, but as long as there is still some THC left in it, you're good to go. Also, eating it by itself won't do anything at all, the THC has to have fat or alcohol to absorb into--which reminds me, you could also let it soak in strong alcohol and make some Green Dragon.

Actually eating it raw would work, it creates a longer lasting high, but because most of the THC is gone, you would have to eat the entire ounce to feel anything, so for a normal eating high it would be the best to just cook it in cannabutter, if it was good dank then eating the ounce will give you the best, longest lasting high you would ever have, but it is not worth it, unless you are on a vacation in the transkei (Place in south africa), where it costs like $80 for 4 pounds of dank. (No, sereosly.)

How would eating it by itself work? Is there something special about ABV that I'm not aware of? My understanding is that cannabinoids need to be absorbed into alcohol or fat in order to be active orally. Eating raw weed doesn't work, so why would it work with material that has almost no active ingredients left?

I'm fairly sure Mary-juana has no idea what they are talking about. I've read on here about people using grams of AVB on PB&j's and getting baked as fuck... so definitely don't do the whole ounce at once. I have about 12 grams of AVB and I plan on making marijuana pills next week with 'em using empty gel tabs and coconut oil.

You could also make some green dragon out of it.

I had a little experiment with AVB today... I was just messing around so I didn't really take exact measurements, but I used these items: Rapunzel Organic Chocolate Hazelnut Butter Toasted sesame oil AVB Toast A small ceramic dish (ramekin) Aluminum foil The chocolate hazelnut butter is similar to nutella, I'm sure that can be used just fine in place of it, but nutella actually has less fat so perhaps it'd be a good idea to use more oil. I used about three tablespoons. The sesame oil seemed to me the best extra fat I could add in terms of complementing the flavor of the chocolate hazelnut butter (my other options were canola oil, olive oil, or butter). I used about a tablespoon and a half. I mixed in a fairly good amount of AVB, probably half an eighth but honestly it's a wild guess. Mixed it up in the dish, put foil, and stuck it in the oven for 23 minutes at 320 degrees. Took it out, let it cool a bit at room temperature, then spread about half the mixture on a piece of toast and ate it. The mixture was very smooth and spreadable, and like brownies the chocolate covered up the taste of the AVB pretty well. I found it very palatable compared to the firecracker AVB experiment I did a bit earlier. It was a chore wolfing that firecracker down but this wasn't hard at all. It helps that the chocolate hazelnut butter is so yummy. As for the high, it took a bit longer to hit than my previous ventures into eating. It was nearing the two hour mark and I felt a bit high, but I was contemplating eating the rest of the mixture. I think the first one may not have been sitting well in my stomach, and some how it didn't seem appetizing. I was stirring it around, contemplating whether or not to eat the rest, when I suddenly realized I was pretty damn baked. It wasn't as intense and didn't seem to last as long as eating normally does but considering it's AVB I'd consider it more than successful. It was pretty easy to put together and pretty tasty, and it worked!
