I'm not sure if it's particularly hard, but the cooking oil method is less efficient than using real butter, in my experience. If it's your first time cooking weed, you'll probably want to only use half, at least that way you still have something to smoke if it doesn't work. Just remember, it'll take a while to kick in.

| I have never ingested cannabis (too lazy) but definately wait to make that second batch. I would suggest using a small amount for the first so that if it does turn out to be a failure you alway have alot you can smoke. Good luck!

Butter (real butter) = tastier. It's also easier to work with in my experience. The amount of bud you use should be proportionate to the amount of servings you end up with and the amount it takes you and/or your friends to get high. Example, if you use ten grams and end up with 8 servings you get .8 grams per serving worth of bud. Twenty grams will get you 1.6 grams per serving, which will probably end up with you lying on the floor for several hours with a bewildered look on your face. ![]()

Some cooking oils will work better than others, the higher fat percentage per serving is the better oil to use. THC doesn't care if it's being extracted with lard, processed oil, or butter. Fat is fat and alcohol is alcohol, THC bonds to both just fine.

In my experience, you'll need only a gram to get a great high going. So, I would say use 10g and WAIT AN HOUR TO TWO HOURS (very important) before consuming any more. and if you DO eat more, eat like 1/2 a brownie.
