i was on this site that someone stated if you bake that it becomes alot stronger, is this true?:

Sounds to me like a load of bs.

First off... without fat/alcohol, how are those other active ingredients going to convert to anything?

If anything, imho, it sounds like this will make your pot much weaker due to the initial loss of THC due to heat.

If this process could actually double or triple the potency of weed, don't you think everyone would be doing it? It's easy enough to test. Why don't you try it and get back to us?

is this guy serious. I understand cooking with it but you are going to bake it by itself? I think if anything you need to stop smoking, cooking, and everything else

this whole idea sounds like a ridiculous speculative rambling from someone who was too intoxicated and was trying to think too hard... i dont think the idea is going to work, but like buzz said, go ahead and waste..err try it for us and let us know the results...

And plus it's below the vaping temp of weed. So relax and give it a try.

Why try and fix something when its not broken... Most recipes out there already work without having to bake the weed first. I'd stick to the old fashoned way if I was you as it seems like all your going to do is lose precious THC when bringing it to that temp. As a matter of fact, and people please correct me here if I'm wrong, wouldnt the weed start vaping slightly at that temp for that period of time?

I've always baked my weed at about 250 degrees before cooking it in oil. It makes it easier to turn to powder. I've read where the weed is activated by the heat just like smoking does.

i live in a place that when you get the weed, its pressed. its very humid where i live , so, mold happens fast, and, ive even gotten stuff that is starting to mold

i break it up and put it in the oven and bake for 10 minutes to get the mold out. it works like a charm and lasts months without molding

ive never noticed that it seriously increases the potency.
