| Relatively quick and easy recipe that turned out really well. I sauteed 1/4 of high mids in slightly over 1/2 cup butter on medium-medium high heat for 15-20 minutes or so, until the bud was all browned. I then strained out the bud and was left with slightly discolored butter. I took a Duncan Hines brownie mix and basically followed the direction, subbing the 1/2 cup butter for the 1/2 cup oil it called for. Then cooked as normal. I'm inherently lazy so was really pleasantly surprised at my results. Yield was 12 brownies. One brownie was a bit too much--left me stoned out of my gourd for 24 hours. Half a brownie is a good dosage...very potent and very tasty. |
