| ok im using a coffee grinder to grind up the bud, and putting it in a toaster oven in a buttered cheese sandwich. i tried just under 110 celcius for 10 min and the cheese was hardly melted but i didnt want to burn it so i ate it. almost an hour later im feeling pretty heavy but not intense high. from other threads ive seen 106 celcius is the thc activation point but im thinking i should try a bit higher temp, and perhaps using the grinder to make the weed as fine powdered as possible. any suggestions? |

| You don't need to activate THC. What you're talking about is decarboxylation. Seperating the carboxyl group from the THC acids. The acids don't get you high. THC does. Ed Rosenthal recommends 106° C. --- Grotenhermen, F. (2003). Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of cannabinoids. Clinical Pharmacokinetics, 42(4), 327-360. He cites a study recommending 200-210° C for five minutes.
