| Hey everyone, im about to get a medical marijuana card for my Peptic Ulcer, and I had actually two questions I was hoping to address. Q1. Will eating marijuana effect my ulcer in any way? The only way im thinking of eating it is to have a constant supply of butter for cookies, brownies etc... Q2. Regarding my first question, will eating bud-cookies/brownies for a long period of time (possibly on a daily basis) have an over-all negative effect on my stomach? Thank you in advance for any advice!! |

| 1) I'm not a medical professional. 2) This is purely a guess. No I don't think it will effect your ulcer negitively, nor will long term use of eating marijuana have any serious effects. I think it should be good for relieveing nausea, possible pain relief, and hopefully will keep your mind off your ills. Its really a blessing, such a great plant. ![]() Its one of the safest theraputic substances known to man when injested orally. If it has some odd reaction with your ulcer, stop using it, otherwise I think your in the clear, enjoy. Best Wishes, HN- p.s. Welcome to cheaptalk, check out the recipe section for information on making food/desserts with marijuana in them.

| I'm actually writing a research paper for school on Medical Marijuana, and it will definitly be short-term and overally positive for your nausea/vomiting problem, if that's the case. And, as you seem to be suggesting, oral ingestion is the best way to go for this kind of situation. There's nothing wrong with smoking it, it's just a little more contraversial, and it's effects (both positive and negative) aren't as stable/constant as eating it is.
