Eating Before Eating

Should one eat something before consuming a mj cookie or brownie?
If so, should there be a waiting period between pre-eating and mj consumption?
Do certain foods when eaten before eating mj assist or detract from the high?

I've done both and I can honestly say I noticed no difference in the high.

In the past, I've noticed that the more food in your stomach, the longer it takes for the high to take effect.

Since eating brings down a marijuana high, I'd think that eating as little as possible would tend to get you higher.

Yes, I agree with buzzby. With little food in your stomach to adhere to, The effects will become more apparent, quicker.

However, and im no scientist, I do know that THC is fat soluable. so eating fatty foods may help the process.

And I neglected to mention liquids. I imagine that drinking liquids right before or after dilutes the stomach's acids; weakening the breakdown of the edibles.
