Yeas ago, I moved out of my apartment and had to cut my crop early.
No buds. I ground up the leaf in a blender, and made cannabutter with Country Crock vegetable spread. It was extremely effective.
Spread on toast caused a buzz, using it to lubricate the frying pan
for eggs (green eggs ) caused a buzz, the two large birthday cakes
I made for my party had many many people commenting on how that
was the highest they'd ever felt, best cake they ever ate.

One morning I had a bunch of stuff to do in order to promote that party.
I thought I'd get the long hard working day started by dropping a tea spoon of this ground leaf into my hot cocoa. It tasted awful, very green tasting is all I can describe it as. Well I felt a bit tired after that, layed my head down, and woke up 12 hours later.

I could never imagine using the chemicals mentioned above with my herb.

Here's a funny-tragic story about butane. This teenager was obsessed with his body odor, he spent hours in the bathroom spraying his under arms. The butane built up to toxic levels in his system and killed him. He was probaby getting high as a kite inhaling all that butane.
Another butane story, I had a fight with my girlfriend, met another girl the next day, the following day I go with her friends to the cemetary to visit a grave of their friend. I ask how he died, "he died at the mall from inhaling butane". These kids (while drinking underage) had the nerve to dis weed!!! I couldn't believe when I had to smoke a joint by myself at a party of over thirty people. What pathetic brain washed fools.

Granted, butane, acetone, etc., are poisons. If they are used in the wrong way it will bring devastation. The reason they are good for extracting organic molecules is that you can evaporate them away, which leaves the organic molecule behind. I think that it goes without saying though that you do it in a well ventilated area, the prefrerred method would be in a fume hood.
