Do not poach eggs in the microwave. They may explode into your face just as you are looking over the mug, propelling hot water and egg into and around your face. It hurts. Don't do it.

thank god for me.i've hated eggs all my life

but idc if they are in like cake mixes or whatever,thats different.

I like eggs, but the idea of cooking them in a microwave kinda grosses me right the hell out.

My sister tried to cook an egg in the microwave on her birthday once when we were younger and it splattered all over her face when she opened the microwave.......

If that happened to me I would probably want to throw up, I can't stand the thought of having "chicken period" all over me.....

I work in a restaurant and we poach our eggs in the microwave for some stupid reason or another. I think the owners are too cheap to get proper equipment to poach eggs. I think their gross when cooked this way. This is awesome. Maybe the link posted above will be enough to convince them to get proper equipment. Thanks for this thread.
