| After reading many threads on how to make firecrackers, a friend and I decided to try them. Most of the information I gathered seemed to be fairly consistent. This is what we did: We used organic peanut butter. I got this from a health food store. As most other threads will say, you want non hydrogenated peanut butter. If you open the fresh jar and see a pool of oil on the top, you got the right stuff. We ground up the weed to make two firecrackers, one for each of us. We ground up 1.2grams of supremely dense, sticky, high grade bud. After grinding it, we broke it up even more as best we could. We split that into two .6 piles. For each of the two firecrackers, we used 2 saltine crackers, peanut butter on each cracker. We sprinkled the ground herb on all four crackers and and sandwiched them together. We had two firecrackers, each with .6g of bud. We wrapped them in aluminum foil and popped them in a preheated oven at (this is key, supposedly. It worked great for me anyway) 320 degrees for exactly 25 minutes. Then we cooled them to room temp. Neither of us had smoked all day, and we both are fairly regular pot smokers. We both had fairly empty stomachs. We each ate our firecracker at 12am midnight. The taste was not bad at all. The taste of the weed was subtle, overall pretty good. By 12:20, we had started to feel something significant. By 1am, we were reduced to quivering messes that could not stop hysterically laughing. Remember when you first started to smoke, and you would LAUGH non stop? You would get the "tweeks" where you just can't sit still? It was like that. SUPER intense. TOTALLY incapacitated. I can usually do stuff when I'm high, like after I smoke. Not with these. These firecrackers reduced us to infants. We could barely play video games because it was just SO visually stimulating it was overwhelming. There were times I felt almost too high. By around 4am it started to subside but I could still feel it very much so. We passed out at around 5am, and awoke today at around noon. I still could feel the residual effects until late afternoon. These firecrackers were KILLER and I'm definatly gonna do it again. This is a great alternative to smoking all the time. Next time I do it (probably tomorrow) I'm going to use around .3g - .4g. If anyone wants to try firecrackers, make sure you do them right and you will LOVE them! All in all the high is ten times that of smoking a blunt to the face. ![]() Last edited by ScubaCat7 : 04-29-2009 at 04:46 AM. Reason: adding more info |
