For awhile now, I have been curious about entomophagy, the eating of insects.

Today dad had dug a hole, and discovered a grub (the larvae of a june bug) and said "Hey A.J. you've stated you are curious of eating bugs.. these are high in protein"..

I decided to rinse it off, and do some research on how to prepare them. Found JACK..

Then I decided to simply pop the sunuvabitch in my mouth and chew. BAD mistake, .

I bit into it, wasn't too bad at first, then all of a sudden a bunch of root segmants and mud squirted into my mouth. I ran to the sink and spit it out..

Than I came to the realization "Maybe If I had it eat some apple first.. it would be good!".. than the apple idea turned into marijuana.

HOWEVER, I am not sure how the grub would process the thc, would you get high off of the weed, would it change the high somehow? And would it be worth the weed? (questions I don't expect anyone to answer)

Hell I have a dehydrator, I could have a BUNCH of grubs, and dehydrate them all. Once I go to college, and have my own dorm room, or a room mate that is cool with it, I should try this!

You keep them for a day or two, and feed them appetizing things, like fruits... then you fry those things up in a little oil with salt and pepper. I took an entomology class, we ate some grubs right before the final, that's how our prof did it.

you eat bugs? thats sick bro. id have to be either torched or bombed to eat a bug. but if your happy, go for it.

If I remember right, a lot of bugs taste like shrimp. Aren't shrimp just sea-bugs, anyways?
