so i just made some weed tea according to a recipe found in the stoner's cookbook. essentially, weed in teabag, boil water, pour over weedbag, add about tsp of butter, i'm making about 32 oz of tea (nalgene bottle) so i added some extra butter. I used maybe half-.75 grams of some old shake and mayyybe 4 grams of stems that i've been saving. it's been steeping for about an hour and i just added a mint teabag for flavor. i'm letting it cool right now, i'll drink it and report back with the effects.

alright so i'm starting to feel the effects. - a sort of ethereal enjoyment of everything i focus my attention on - everything has become exceedingly comfortable, i'm laying in my bed and i feel like i'm melting into it the weed/stems i used was from some high grade buds, really fruity and dense, great to smoke. i have the lasts of it packed into my vaporizer, i'm going to light that up before i go to bed. the recipe turned out great, i can feel the effects slowly building. it's interesting, i'll try to post back tomorrow with a full review of the experience.

it's getting more intense, a huge all body high is the best way to describe it. this is very similar to my last experience eating mj. great so far.

How is the smell? I like to drink green tea at work for the antioxidants and it is the only time of the day I drink anything other than water. However making Green Dragon Tea and taking it with me sounds awesome. Obviously I would not use quite enough to make me feel like I was melting into my chair but a nice little buzz would be great. Food highs generally last longer and coming down after vaping in the middle of a shift is never fun

i used a nalgene to steep the weed so that it wouldn't smell, but after steeping the bud for about an hour i added a mint tea bag and let that steep, honestly it barely smelled. i'm a college student and i'd be completely comfortable walking into class with a mug full of this tea.

| alright so overall experience review. flavor/drinking experience: overall really great flavor, I added a mint tea bag toward the end to give it some flavor, i also added sugar when i was boiling the water. the butter seemed to thicken it up a bit, added the typical buttery/salty flavor, but not to a fault. overall, 5/5 for flavor. the high: almost entirely a body high, everything became immensely comfortable and felt great. it was extremely relaxing. now i have a decent gauge for how much marijuana to cook with in the future, i'll definitely be using more, as a whole the experience was there, but not as intense as i would have liked it to be. overall, 4/5 for the high. edit: sorry quentin i just saw your post. i drank the tea about 3 hours after my last meal, so my stomach was fairly empty. i started drinking around 1:20 and finished around 1:50 AM. the high began around 2:20 and slowly built until around 3:30, I fell asleep around 4 AM. woke up at 8 and still felt the effects, though they were extremely mild. and I really had to use the bathroom. the high was fairly intense, I would feel comfortable drinking the amount of tea at that potency during any given work or school day. however, if i had nothing to do and wanted to make some tea, i would increase the amount of bud used.
