| Ive tryed eating weed on many occations... never has worked.. ive tryed crackers with cheese in the microwave.. ive tryed peanut butter on crackers in the microwave.. ive tryed weed and butter in the microwave.. nothing EVER works.. i really want to eat it because its alot easier.. what am i doing wrong?? i need a recipe the uses a small amout of weed and can be made with a microwave. Ive looked for these recipes before.. but they just dont work.... i need an absolutly perfect fail-proof idea or something.... i have an upcomming "event" and i really need to make some "snacks" for a few people and have them work without wasting weed and looking stupid. i havent been on the forum for a while but what i used to read... the recipes werent ever detailed enough..... i know you have probly heard this before and will close the thread.. but sheesh.... nothing works...... | |

| Seasoned Activist | Wasting weed is never fun. I have cooked quite a bit up, with very little success. To do it right, it takes lots of weed and time. The microwave recipies haven't worked too well for me either. I think that it is because of the amout that it takes to get the effect you want. The most high that I have been in my life was when I ate a lot (about 1/8 to 1/4 oz) without even cooking. I know that this was a waste, but I had to get rid of it prior to flying. I got totally wacked, so I know that it works somehow. There are plenty of budder recipies out there and people swear by them. Personally, until I have a good steady supply of bud, I am not going to cook with it. I would rather smoke and know what I am going to get. Daniel |

| does an expert who has had microwave recipes work have a recipe they swear by? how long to cook in microwave? how much weed? usually i would take a cracker and put a bowls worth of weed.. i think i will need to put bigger bowls on... and i top with some cheese.. just from a big chunk of kraft or something... i cook in microwave for 30-40 seconds.. that didnt work.. i tried it with friends one time.. they just got mad then i tried it sandwitched with peanut butter between 2 crackers in the microwave for 50 seconds... that didnt work... i took a chunk of butter and maybe 2 bowls of weed and cooked it in the microwave in a cup until it started to lightly boil... which was about a minute... i put it on a peice of bread..... yuck...... didnt work.. ususally i see they put the weed on top... not covered.. i wouldnt think but would that matter? i always though it was better if it was completey covered in the fat product please help.. someone who knows about this | |

| Blaah, In my experience I have had much better luck eating uncooked Marijuana to get high than I have with recipes. This is how I do it: Get some gel capsules like they use for herbal supplements in health food stores. Sit down with a bowl, the capsules, yuor weed, and a pair of scissors. Remove all of the stems from your buds and break them up into shake (You should use buds and break them up, shake in the bottom of the bag doesnt work as well). Grab a pinch of the bud shake between your fingers tightly and chop it up with the scissors. repeat this until you have a rough powder. You can also use a coffee grinder for this. Pack the long half of the gel cap with the powdered weed until it is packed down tight and there is a little puffing up out of the end of the capsule. Put the other end of the capsule on to close it. It takes me 2 of these pills to get high and 3 or 4 to be stoned. You should take the pills on an empty stomach and drink only water with them. If you have food in your stomach or drink heavy milk or something else it will take a lot longer to absorb into your bloodstream and you wont feel as good. | |

| Ok, this was on a post a while back and a few people i know swear by it. You take some oil, really fatty. Break up some bud w/out stems and make it into a real fine powder, as fine as you can make it. Mix the weed with the oil in about a 80% weed to 20% oil ratio. Microwave this for a long time. I dont know exactly how long, but after the oil starts boiling stop it. Ok, you then store it in the freezer. When you can handle the weed properly fit this stuff into gelcaps. One or two gets you baked. On an empty stomach. This recipe calls for a small amount of weed and if done properly all of your friends will love you. | |

| Senior Member ![]() | A friend of mine does that exact same thing. He took a trip out to Cali with his non-smoking brother for 2 weeks not too long ago. He bought a half right before he went, and with those capsules, he was able to stay high almost all the time. I've tried them a couple times, but for some reason, eating weed has never had a real big effect on me, except for leary biscuits, everything else doesn't really hit me that hard.

| Senior Member ![]() | First I took a cracker, like a ritz cracker, and put some peanut butter on it, enough for there to be a pretty thick layer of it. Then, I put about a bowl or 2 worth of weed on it. Originally, I didn't take any of the stems out but then I found myself picking stems out of my teeth. I popped it in the microwave for about a minute or 2. Once the peanut butter starts to melt, it's been in there long enough. Then eat and wait for about 2 hours or so. It helps if you eat it on an empty stomach. Have some water or something on hand because it's not gonna taste too good. That's how I did it, and it worked for me. |
