the last time i ate hash brownies
we put about 5 grams into a few very thin brownies
man my girlfriend was treating them like they were regular brownies, she took like a quarter of the brownie and piled some ice cream and whipped cream onto it
i had to warn her and kind've scared her a bit, but they really didn't do anything to us
we went and watched Indiana jones during it
then when we got back i ate some more brownie, and i really started feeling it later that night
the thing is though, it wasn't that i felt high so much as i just felt very very dizzy
dunno, i never feel weed too much whenever i eat/drink it, and i hear its supposed to be really strong that way

i think after this incident, i get kind've dizzy when i get really stoned now
man, as much as i love the earthy taste, it was kind've too strong tasting too
then again, i've eaten pot brownies with stems and shit in them and it didnt scare me away from pot
but those brownies.. that smell like.. stayed with me forever

I'm a big fan of making clarified butter this way:
  • melt desired amount of butter
  • add equal amount of water (since thc and other cannabanoids aren't water sollubable)
  • bring to about 250F
  • add your fine ground leaf/weed/whatever
  • let simmer for 12-24 hours.
  • skim off the white "foam" on top (making it clarified)
  • strain through cheese cloth
  • then using the hands squeeze and squeeze the cheese cloth baggie of weed to get every bit out.
This way, you are left with a very pure, very potent buter mixture w/out the milk solids. The added water during cooking prevents the mixture from over-heating/boiling and destroying the active chemicals.

We have made rice krispy treats w/butter made this way and they were so stony, almost scarily stony because of the sugar from the marshmallows and rice along with the potent cannabutter....they were deadly.

As far as your recipie...I love it! OF COURSE add cinnamon to weed brownies! It's little secrets like that that make people wonder why yours are so good!

I just go about making my cannabutter in advance a lil differently...otherwise I love the recipe!
