Ok, so I know that there is the general accepted theory about how weed needs to be heated to a certain degree to "activate" the pot.

Now what I am wondering, is there a temperature that is too much? Im not talking about insane temps, just like in baking...Can you add weed to anything at all when youre baking to get THC and stuff all good? or is there a point at which the chemical burns off?...Thanks

No one has even been able to give me a satisfactory explanation of what 'activating' even is!

I have on many occassions gotten quite stoned by eating raw Marijuana.

Yes, THC evaporates at a certain temperature, but I am not sure how high it is. So, yes you can burn all of the THC out of your recipe if you cook it too high for too long.

Here's a fact: Heat degrades THC.

" THC is degraded by both heat and light. Table 26 shows results of an experiment conducted at the University of Mississippi, in which marijuana was stored under varying temperature conditions171. These results indicate that marijuana stored at room temperature (72) or below, and in darkness for up to two years will lose only an insignificant amount of its original potency; whereas marijuana stored in darkness at 97 or above will lose almost all its potency within two years. "

Stoned from uncooked weed you say...very interesting...that is so much more convenient....

do you stuff the gelcaps? or do you just eat a big handful of pot....and if its the gel caps...how many does it take to get high....and do you use regs or really high quality stuff.

Here's how I do it:

Grind up some whole buds in a coffee grinder until they turn into a powder. Pack the powder into the long half of the gelcaps tightly until when you push down a little bit still sticks out the top. Put the cap over the end and make another one. It usually takes me 2 of these to get high and 4 to get stoned. 6 will keep you flying all day long. The key to staying high all day is to take two pills at first, then as you feel the effects coming on take another. After that you should take one every few hours till they are gone.

Do this on an EMPTY stomach! If you have food in your stomach it will not get you nearly as high. At most drink milk and water. The fat in the milk should help with absorption of the THC. I never get the munchies from this method, but if you do, I would suggest waiting until you are feeling as high as you want to feel.

Also, this works perfectly for people who cant find anything to cure motion sickness. Works like a dream! Here's a note though: If you are taking this in a situation where you might be getting motion sickness, it will not get you as high. I have found that when I use it for this most of the effects go to fighting the motion sickness instead of to getting you high. However, it will turn a miserable day on the water or air into a freaking spectacular day.

P.S. - I use regs straight from Mexico. I usually smoke all of the good stuff I come across. I imagine if you used KB it would be even better.
