| I don't see how that will work, simply because THC is not water soluable (well, nothing is completely insoluable in water, but it's so minute that it might as well be), but fat soluable. I could see adding a couple tablespoons of butter to the water, tha twould work for sure.

| first time poster...was going to make some butter soon..have a male that is 4th week of flower...seperate from my ladies...does he have to be flushed and then straight water for 2 wks..before making butter..or can i go ahead and do it anytime? |

| 7-14g seems like too little to be regular but quite a lot of kb. Which is it? This seems quite simple so i'm pretty interested. How high did you get? I'm looking for an easy recipe bot don't want to waste any pot. |

| i got two. They both involve olive oil and this is what the thc is disolved in. Heat olive oil and a few grams of herb (up to you how much) in smallest pan you can find so it is deeper and wont burn the buds. Simmer 10 mins stirring ocasionaly Now you have yr cannaoil. Use it as called for in these recipes and others. EASY HUMMUS DIP 2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans chick peas (garbanzos), drained 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice 2 tbsp. oriental sesame oil 1/8 tsp. garlic powder Pita bread Olive oil to cover Puree all ingredients except bread in blender or processor. Cover and refrigerate. Transfer to bowl. Drizzle olive oil over top and blend. Serve with lightly toasted pita bread. PESTO SAUCE 4 oz basil leaves (or parsley) 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground pepper 3-4 cloves garlic crushed 2 oz pine nuts (or walnuts) 3 tablespoons Parmesan 1 1/4 cup olive oil blend everything but the olive oil and add the olive oil as you go. adjust ratios for your taste and substitute/add other italian cheeses for a variation. add cream for a lighter taste. serve over your favorite pasta. penne works great. i like the blender/food processor ones cuz they are super easy and olive oil is a perfect medium to dissolve thc into |

| I have two recipes here - one for cannabutter and rice crispy treats both of which I compiled from various resources online, and a second which I came up with myself from experimentation that uses the cheapest boxed brownie mix ( obviously not the most gourmet brownies but they do the trick and its cheap and easy) - my suggestion if you have small quanitties of pot and just want to try out eating weed is go with my box brownie recipe - its a guarenteed success. Cannabutter (compiled from various resources) 1. Bring water to a boil in a medium sized pot. 2. reduce heat to obtain a rolling boil (small bubbles, barely boiling, gentle boil, etc) 3. add sticks of UNSALTED REAL butter (no margarine or nothing) to water (see chart) 4. add ground up weed to butter and water 5. stir to immerse all weed 6. cover and simmer for hours (between 12-36 hours – yes long but absolutely necessary for extraction) Keep an eye on the mixture, make sure there’s always enough water to keep the bits of weed floating and off the bottom. Stir every once and a while. 7. after the boiling process, strain the weed out using a metal strainer – if the weed is too fine, use a pair of stockings cut off at the ankle. Squeeze every last drop of butter/water out of the bud, wash with more hot water and squeeze again. 8. put the hot water and butter mixture into an appropriately sized container and put it in the fridge. 9. once the butter is set, simply remove the block of newly hardened cannabutter and discard the water ( it contains a lot of the impurities in the weed so its all gross like bong water) 10. use the cannabutter in any recipe that calls for butter, or just spread it on toast. Schtoney treats 1 stick of cannabutter 15 oz of marshmallows 6-7 cups of rice crispies Chocolate or peanut butter is good in there too Melt the butter and mellows over very low heat (double boiler method preferred) and mix. Once melted, mix in crispies and pour into a greasd 13X9X2 pan and flatten the surface with wax paper or greasy hands. Let set either in fridge or on counter top till hardens, cut into appropriate number of pieces, and get high. Butter-weed chart 1 ounce of weed per 1lb of butter/4sticks = ¼ per stick of butter = 7 grams per tray of treats = .43 grams per treat if cut into 16 pieces 2-3 treats and you’re done. Switz's pot brownies the old fashioned way. cheapest brownie mix from the supermarket that requires at least ½ cup vegetable oil; 2/3cup is better. (also aim for mixes that fill 9x9 pans) So first of all lets go over dosage. In the past I have done two things – I’ve used 18g (just over a ½ oz) of of the schwiggiest schwaggiest sticks stems and lame excuses for buds (the kind of stuff you cant even smoke) in one batch of these brownies and each brownie was pretty damn powerful – the weed was so shitty that you ended up being very drowsy after about 4-6 hours, but you were definitely stoned for a good 5 hours. I’ve also used 10.5 g (3/8’s) of some pretty nice outdoors in a batch and each brownie got consumers high for over 6 hours and even into the next day (my friend had one at about 8pm after eating a light dinner and was still high the following day around noon) It’s up to you to judge how good your pot is and how high you want to get, so make that call on your own keeping in mind what I just told you about my experiences. In both situations we cut the 9x9 tray into 8 evenly sized brownies which means for the second situation there was about 1.3g per brownie of nice outdoors. A couple words on eating them….You want to eat them on a relatively empty stomach so you can digest them asap and get the full high asap. The reason I say relatively is because if your stomach is really empty and you haven’t eaten for a good 6 hours, the brownie is gonna go right through you and you wont even digest it all properly. So my suggestion is this. Plan ahead. Eat 1 regular meal. About 5 hours later, eat a very light meal. 1 hour after that, eat your brownie. Give it about 1-2 hours and yer fucked. 3 hours post consumption you should be really, really high. A couple words on cooking weed: Always keep a lid on the pot (prevents evaporation of THC) Don’t burn your weed Bake between 280-300 F. THC vaporizes around 311F so you don’t want to go any higher than like 305. Make sure to get every last drop of oil/brownie mix into the oven. This recipe leaves the weed in the oil and therefore you are eating actual weed in the brownies. The reason for this is so that if you didn’t extract the THC into the oil completely, you give your body the opportunity to get a little more THC out of the weed. I am always afraid after straining out the weed that thers still THC left in the bud and I don’t want to waste it by just throwin it away so I would rather juts leave it in there and eat it. People are also much more convinced that thers actually weed in the brownies and you’re not givin em fake or weak ones, although they always taste like cooked pot regardless… 1. Put yer oil in a small pot – I use at least 2/3 cup even if the recipe calls for 1/2 to make sure thers enough oil for the weed (obviously if you’re using shitty weed you’re gonna be putting a lot more in each pot of oil so make that decision yourself). They might come out a bit greasy but who cares we all love fudgy, juicy, chocolaty brownies and you’re eating pot as it is – the extra oil isn’t that unhealthy compared to the chemicals in your average bag of weed. 2. turn your stove on low – the absolute lowest setting – and heat up the oil, covered (preferably with a glass or otherwise see through lid) 3. after about 10 minutes your oil should be hot enough 4. grind up the appropriate quantity buds including the stems and extraneous leaf/shake and add it to your oil. 5. stir in the weed and let it heat in there for about 20 minutes. 6. turn the stove up a little bit so that you start to see small bubbles or some movement in the oil – you don’t want the oil to be boiling but you want to get it hotter than it has been for the past 20 minutes. 7. heat the weed stirring every 5 minutes or so for another 15 minutes at this hotter temperature, always keeping the lid on. 8. after about 45 minutes of cooking, the oil should be ready. 9. let your oil cool down and add it (with the weed) to your brownie mix first – the mix usually calls for some water and 2 eggs, so add the water second and eggs last. If you add the oil to the water and the oil is still too hot, the water will boil and crackle and spit hot oil everywhere. If you add the eggs too early and the oil/water/mix is still too hot, the eggs will cook before you can even mix them in and put the whole thing in the oven. 10. once you have made your brownie mix, grease up a 9x9 pan and pour it in, making sure to scrape out every last drop. Preheat your oven to 300 and throw your mix in there for about 10-15 minutes longer than the recipe calls for ( since you are cooking it at a lower temperature, they gotta stay in there longer.) just check on them and decide for yourself if you want fluffier or denser brownies. I like mine undercooked and dripping with weedy chocolate goodness. 11. cut em up into 8, package in aluminum foil and refrigerate for consumption at another point in time. I did a lot of research online for the perfect recipes, but the old fashioned pot brownies from a box recipe I just gave is (in my opinion) the cheapest, most cost-effective way to make brownies for yourself or if you plan on providing special treats for friends/customers. So what if you leave the weed in the mix, I like it . Decide for yourself based on how much bud went in, how much you want to charge. |

| 8 thin slices of bread 70g cannabutter 50g raisins 40g caster sugar 2 eggs 568ml (1 pint) milk thickly spread bread with cannabutter cut into triangles and put half into a decent sized oven dish. sprinkle with all of the fruit and half the sugar. top with the remaining bread, buttered side up. sprinkle with the rest of the sugar. beat eggs and milk well together and pour into the dish. leave for 30mins and bake in the oven at 170*celcius or 325*Fahrenheit and bake for 45mins to 1 hour or until top is crisp and golden. ![]()
