Well, I've been doing some experimenting just for fun....I put roughly 2 grams of resin from my bong slide into a shot glass of 80 proof vodka, half full. I put the concoction in my drawer and let it sit for a week, stirring daily. The vodka turned into a brown liquid and the resin clumped into a big ball. I then strained the liquid through some cheesecloth. Do you think this tincture will be effective? Will it be potent or worth dumping in the drain? What do you think in terms of dosage? I have no idea of the THC content in resin. Is it high or low compared to unsmoked herb? I was thinking a few drops in some chilled juice might do the trick. Do you think the carcinogens in the resin were extracted into the alcohol along with any THC? Should I let the potion evaporate on a tray and scrap the material up to smoke, like hash? Lot of questions- your help is appreciated.
