| I've got a really dumb question here, so bear with me: I've been reading here and elsewhere how to make hash with acetone and other potentially explosive compounds. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't hash a naturally occurring substance? I thought that very mature buds begin secreting a THC resin, and this resin is then scraped off and viola - you have hash. Am I insane? I could have sworn I've read this somewhere ... | |

| What you're talking about with acetone is hash oil. The acetone takes the THC out of the plant. You evaporate or boil off the acetone and what you're left with is hash oil. You can also use butane and pure grain alcohol, but be careful if you boil it off. All these substances are flammable. peace |
