Rather than doing the traditional ethanol/everclear/whatever 190 proof alcohol method and waiting a month
could you do an Iso wash
filter, dry, etc like normal oil
then put the oil into the everclear/ethanol/190 proof
would this make it quicker?
you might not get as much, but the product should certainly cleaner
better tasting, fewer sugars and waxes, clorophyll
feel free to shoot it down, or anything else i post haha!
these ideas just FLOW when I'm high!

There's already an existing thread on Tinctures (http://www.marijuana.com/420/showthread.php?t=36758). Please utilize the search feature next time. You can continue your discussion in there, but I don't see the point in doing the iso-method and then putting it an an ethanol solution. If anything, you would want to use hexane or acetone to extract THC, it's highly flammable though and not for the chemistry-impaired.

HempCultivation.com has some good information on hash and the different methods, as well there's a method in the Methods section about making hash via water (my favorite and easiest method). You can find it in the Methods sub-forum labeled FAQ.
