I've been told that a good way to get use stems is by gathering as many as you can, letting them disolve a little over the course of a night or two in soda, then drink it. Does this work? Does anyone know ?

1) Stems have virtually no THC. Though they are, as I found out today when I helped harvest my friend's plants, fun to chew on

2) THC is only soluble in fats, oils, and alcohol. So sticking some ground up _leaves_ in a bottle of vodka for a few days *will* work.

Only thing stems are good for is to chew on, they are damn fun to chew on. You can even buy hemp "dip" that tastess really good.

Do a search for it on google.com or something or visit your local headshop. I saw the site a while ago and ordered some but forgot the site. Do a quick search and you should find it. I need to get more it was really tasty.

I figure the more stuff that taste like weed the better. Nothing better that a good stem soda after a bowl or 10

Im more for eating some fine bud wit' my food.. than eat or drink for that matter.. a couple of stems.

yeah I can't say it sounds like the best idea to me. I tried making weed tea yesterday w/ stems and it wasn't all that good. I put in orange mint and spearmint from my backyard and a lil honey. I knew it wouldn't get me high I just wanted tha flava. I think I'll use buds or leaves next time and put in less honey.

(the orange mint really does add a nice touch)

oh yeah and one more thing, I'm sure the soda would dissolve the stems in a whole lot less than two nights, hell maybe even 7-8 hours. Inquiring minds please see my essay at http://my.marijuana.com/article.php?sid=1469
