| It all depends on the potency of the pot. The rule-of-thumb is that you need at least three times as much as it would take to get high by smoking it. A half gram of hash would definitely do it. A half gram of skunk might do it. A half gram of anything less probably wouldn't.

| You would really be pushing it with that amount. The general rule of thumb, as already stated (and one that has been stated numerous times in the Culinary forum) is that you need 3x more bud to cook with than what it takes you to get high from smoking. So if a half gram of bud gets you high, you would want to use 1.5-2.0 grams of bud to get you going. However, I always say for one person use 3 grams of bud.
