I was considering organizing a small "party" of close friends and was hoping for any input/advice from someone who has reasonable exprerience with this sort of event..

Just make sure you buy enough marijuana. Let's say you are having 10 people over, it would be a safe bet to buy an ounce and make everyone happy. What kind of food are you thinking of making? Think of something and I'll give you a recipe for it.

I was planning on making brownies for ten people using Mamabudz recipe, and it only requires 15 grams or 1/8 of a cup.

It all depends on the strength of the pot and how high you want to get. A good rule of thumb would be to use at least three times as much pot per person as you would use to get high smoking it.

If you can get the desired buzz off half a gram smoked, then fifteen grams would be just what you would want for ten people (a gram and a half per person). If you'd smoke closer to a gram to get high then the recipe would need an ounce for ten people.

i wanna know where youre getting these hookups HL.. i can get a quarter of decent mids for 40-45 and an 1/8 of dank for that same price.. 50-60 bucks for an ounce of mids sounds like an amazing find

Yeah, an ounce typically runs $400 in my neck of the woods regardless of quality. But this is no place to be discussing prices.

IMO it's better to make the brownies too weak than too strong in this situation. Bake at least two batches with that oz, that way the people with stronger tolerance can eat several brownies, while those with lower tolerance won't be overwhelmed by one.
