I was cleaning my bowls the other day and I ended up with something in the neighborhood of about 1/2 ounce of resin. From there I took the resin and simmered it in cooking oil so that it all blended in. I put it in a bottle and I now have a ton of resin cooking oil, I was wondering if it would be worth putting into something that I was cooking or if it would just make me throw up. Anybody ever tried this before or know the answer?

Well, resin (tar) does contain psychoactive chemicals, but not much THC. You could use it, but I think the high would be quite different from a normal oral dose of cannabis. It's probably not very healthy either, but I'm sure its better than smoking the stuff. If you try it, please post the results.

Alright, why not. I'm going to go and brew some super strong coffee right now and try a teaspoon or so of my resin oil in it. I'm sure it will taste disgusting, but maybe it will work.

If anything, you would have been better off leaving the pipe residue (as resin is naturally produced and full of THC, unlike the tar you scrape from pipes) in some warm water and getting the most surface area possible exposed.

That was disgusting... but it worked. It took a little while to kick in and it's giving me a really strange little buzz. Hmm... I'll have to try cooking something in it.

If you want to get really high, try scraping some of the "resin" off the inside of your charcoal grill. It makes you feel hickory smoked all over!
