nice MJ/Basil pesto is wonderful on pasta

1/2 cup chopped basil
1/2 cup chopped fresh MJ (leaves stems & bud fresh from plant)
1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup grated parmesan
1/2 cup grated romano
three or more cloves garlic to taste

Mix all ingredients in food processor and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.

This is a strong pesto and a little goes a looooong way.

Add a few table spoons to store bought Ragu and add a little zing to your spaghetti

Or try this recipe:

Boil a box of Rotini (the curly cue pasta) and drain but don't rinse, place back in pot and set aside

Meanwhile in a sauce pan place three tablespoons Pesto to melt over a medium heat, when melted add 1 can of drained garbanzo beans and stir until coated with pesto and nicely toasted, Add 1/2 cup of seasoned italian bread crumbs and stir it all up . Then add about a cup of bottled tomatoe sauce and stir it agaon.

Add the mixture to your pasta and give the whole messa stir.

Serve immediately to hungry ADULTS (remmebr it has MJ and Pesto is a bit strong for KId tastes too.

A nice White Bolla, caesar salad and crisp garlic bread go well with this dish.

i got one question i never used greens in food, but that recipe sounds too good. If i microwave it will it make the greens less potent.

How to get fresh greens:

You'll only need greens for this dish and that's about 2 months of a widow sill grow in dirt (yup right along side your basil plants). Drop a few (2 or 3) bag seeds in some potting soil from Wal mart in a nice 8" plastic pot (<$1 from the WalMArt) and water every other day.... HArvest the leaves like you do with basil...Oh yeah, gorw your basil plant the same way...you really think I want you paying $2 for that stuff they sell you in the vegetable section at the store?

Oh and microwaveing will definitely lower potency, you are heating up the THC, you don't want to do that more than necessary...but chopping it into a puree with the food processor is a MUST

it lowers the thc? does that happen when u microwave a blunt as well since its only in thier for 10 seconds ?

yeah...but only slitely...

THC vaporizes at a low temp (just above boiliong water) so anything that boils water...like a microwave does (it excites the water molecules and thereby cooks the food) will vaporize some THC... of course how long you microwave it will effect how long the THC has to vaporize.

So it's a game of how many seconds....

(PS microwaving is NOT irradiating your food...its radio waves exciting the water molecules to a high point and boiling them...just thought you oughta know)
