| This upcomming Friday is Junior/Senior skip day at school. Our plans are for almost all of my good freinds plan to go to forest park to grill out in the cold, throw around a frisbee, and throw down cold ones. We are going to be cooking up al lot of brisket, and i mean alot, over 30 lbs in all(for just 15 of us . I am a master at grilling, and i can make a mean marinade. However i want to add a twist, i think you all know what kind of twist i am planning.Normaly my marinades consist of the basics. Beer, Soy Sauce, Brown Sugar, lime juice and zest, and worshistier sauce. And i am thinking that it would be useless if i just threw in a ounce of bud into the marinade, cause the THC wouldn't be extracted. Should i do pans cannbudder approach, and add it to the marinade towards the end, or maybe baste a THC sauce over the meat while it is cooking, normaly i baste with a beer/spicy dryrub mixture, but i am open to ideas. Just tell me what you guys think would work best, cause i have never cooked with THC before. Also if you guys have any other BBQ recipies, THC or no THC, i would love to hear them. | Since it's an outdoors BBQ I'd do a combination of adding the cannabudder to the marinate as well as using whole weed (could even use the the leftovers from the cannabudder) in a sauce and baste while grilling. ![]() Pan

| i wouldnt risk throwing away an oz of good pot to cook with i would smoke the oz. while i was at the barbeque the high you get from eating bud isnt as fun as the high from smoking it what if people dont want to play frisbee or whatever....they can sit in a nice social circle passing around doobies that sounds better than people eating food and then discovering how ****ed up they are besides...why would u waste your weed to get other people high? your bbq sounds like a good time can i come too? |

[/b][/quote] Hell yea you can come, I don't know where you live, but if you live in the midwest you are welcome, that is if you don't mind missing some school, if you are in school. But you probaly do not know where forest park is. And this is what i decided to go with. I am going to make a awesome dry rub. I am going to pack the dry rub on a 1/2 inch thick onto the meat and let that marinate the meat for a night. This is the dry rub recipe, but remember this is for alot of meat! 1 cup paprika 1 cup thick BBQ sauce (brings it all together) 4 tablespoons of cyan pepper (HEAT) 2 tablespoons garlic powder 2 tablespoons onion powder 1/2 cup DRIED chives 1/4 oz Bud 1/2 cup peppercorns (roughly crushed, you can use coffe grounder) 1/6 cup dry mustard 1/6 cup chili powder 1/6 cup cumin seed, toasted 1/2 cup tablespoons coriander seed, toasted 1 cup kosher salt 1 1/2 cup light brown sugar I am going to mix all of that together and then add a cannabudder type mix. At the same time i actually put some finally chooped bud into the dry rub itself. I have put alot of thinking into this, and this is going to rulee! | |

| Since we got the day off tommarow cause of the hockey team, there is no point on having skip day then. So that just gives us more time for planning which is good ![]() Also Mirage you were worried about your herb oil smelling up your house in the other thread, go to walgreens and buy a small aresol can of "Ozium". This stuff has a over powering clean smell to it, and once that smell goes away, the air smells fresh. This stuff really works, it is called air ionizer. Only get the original scent, the vanilla dosn't smell good. |

| If you're hell bent on eating it, why don't you just make some garlic toast with cannabutter. First of all, I think with a dry rub or marinade you'd lose a lot of THC to drippings. Also, grilling might raise the temperature above the point where THC evaporates. EB | |

| Thanks for the advice emp, however it looks like we aren't going to do this. Our dean is telling us that those that skip will not be allowed to make up any work, and will be diciplined in other ways (It scares me to think just what that is). So the BBQ is off, however it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a nice BBQ sometime this summer ![]()
