I discovered that when making your edibles, you can double your efficiency by mixing in a teflon bowl and also have a fan blowing the whole time. Plus the breeze feels nice. Also, presoaking the bud () aka Mariniatization or Marinatography for you Advanced Users, in Yuhoo or Koolaid before mixing with something (I prefer cherry but grape is good according to my friend Juddy) works wonders.

I'm sorry, but I have no clue as to why either of the factors you mentioned would have ANY effect on the final product, and seriously doubt it would "double your efficency". I think you've had one too many brownies, because none of this would have an effect on the final product. The type of bowl, or whether a fan is blwoing or not cannot have any effect whatsoever on the finsished product. Where did you come up with this nonsense?

i dont know about the fan but i know for a fact that plastic is porus and metal isnt there for i can see someone loosing potentcy in a plastic or wooden bowl opposed to a metal one. well thats what i figure.

Default teflon could make a small difference...

Mixing in a teflon coated bowl may have an influence on the efficiency due to the relative inertness of the teflon surface chemistry. A fan blowing the mixture could only cool the mixture and perhaps dry it (but since we are working with fats - butter or oil - not relevant here) and should have no noticeable effect on the result - if anything it might reduce efficiency since temperature does mediate the dissolution of the THC into the fat. Melting butter to make cannabutter not only liquifies the fat allowing it to fully coat the pot (making complete contact with the surface of the pot) but supplies the energy required to make the process go.

btw...I was taught by a native Italian to heat my pesto sauce just prior to addition of the already boiled pasta...my problem with adding pot to the pesto sauce like this is the short time that the pot is in contact with the oil...I would recommend soaking the pot in some warm oil for a few hours and then using that oil to make the pesto....helps if you can cook....
