|  Cannabutter? So, could anyone explain cannabutter to me in cooking terms/measurements? Like, cups etc, instead of ounces and grams. I saw this recipe, and was wondering if it would work right? 1 stick butter ½ cup cannabis Simmer together for about 30 minutes. Annd it said about 1 tbsp. should give you nice feelings :] Thanks.

|  If you break it up well, I estimate that a full cup would be somewhere between a quarter ounce and a half ounce. This is just a guesstimate though so if anyone knows for sure, please post your knowledge. Don't forget that you need to keep the mixture covered while it's cooking, or you could lose some potency. |

| I don't know the exact conversion, but 1 cup seems more like half an ounce to me, at least. Let's see what I can find... EDIT: Here's what I found...ventured out into the big world of G**gle and ended up right back here on our doorstep. 1 cup of "roughly chopped weed" is 75 grams according to this table...that's a little over 2 1/2 ounces, actually 2.68 ounces. I mustsay that sounds a bit odd..., though now that I think about i, I suppose if you're outting it in a coffee grinder or something, it becomes much more compact.... http://recipes.marijuana.com/conversions.php Can anyone verify that this info seems okay? | Also, i can't afford that much weed right now, so could someone give me a good cannabutter recipe in smaller proportions? I have 2 buds of AK, and i'm getting $40 dollars worth of regs in FL. I would give you grams or ounces or w/e, but i am still not very good with judging amounts. |

| Well I wrote the conversions, and how I did it was by using regular food items that had similar weight and appearance to marijuana. Then I weiged it up and found how much fit into a cup and so on. And yes, an electric grinder basically turns marijuana into powder, so it's almost like confectioners' sugar.
