The ancient egyptians used to soak them in wine, or so archeologists interpret from hyroglyphics (sp?). Its supposed to make the expirience of intoxication more dreamy and psychadelic-like.

But anyway, after reading up on green dragon i went out and bought a bottle of vodka to try it out, but when i went to go and ... *get the pot to soak in it, the guy who was *giving me the bud told me he makes green dragon all the time. In fact he had about a third a bottle of smirnoff vodka colored light, bright green that he *gave to me. I didn't expect the weed would change the taste that drastically but i thought wrong. It basically tastes the same as if you were to chew up raw weed. Blech. Anyone have any alternate drink ideas besides the gingerale/7up one?

Also i was thinking if you made hash oil with the everclear method, couldn't you just mix the hash oil into more alcohol? I would think that would eliminate the taste you get when making it from raw weed

i still think its a lot more fun to smoke... but whatever makes u happy, sounds like lizardbreath gets pretty happy from it

You should try it then it's actually pretty amazing

You have to have a chaser or mix it or else you will feel like you just ate raw weed and you'll be burping up and gagging on the taste. i've only had mine soaking for about 1.5 weeks, but i was bored last night and took 5 shots of it

Obviously you feel drunk, but it isn't the same high you feel if you smoke it. Its much more like if you ate a brownie, it lasts longer, WAY more mellow.

Hey im new to the forums and all, but i was wondering. I saw the forum about Rum and weed, and was wondering, when you let the weed soak in the rum, does it have to be heated at all? Just wondering, its prob a stupid question but whatever lol. thanks

It is better to let the marijuana and alcohol sit in a dark place for a long period of time. You can heat it but this is always more dangerous. I would suggest using something other than rum. There are some good suggestions in this thread.

Your liquor store vendor can show you what a 5th is... It is a small bottle.

Extracts are the essence of something distilled in alcholo (vanilla extract, almond extract, etc.)
