Hi,
I need a recipe for making any herb treats, with probly no more than an eight (3.4 g). It's gonna be for about three people, but it can't be anything too potent, cus we will be in a place where we can't afford to get sick or uncontrollable. We are all experienced, just never with eating the stuff, and I can cook well. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks

You can just go ahead and use any recipe on here and just reduce the amount of weed in it. Most recipes on here involve cannabutter or the weed is just thrown in like you would oregano or any sort of spice so the amount you use is not critical to the recipe.

I see lots of recipes but they've called for an awful lot of weed. some ask for ounces some ask for half cups. now i know alot of you might grow so it doesnt really matter but i, and alot of other people who read this board, cant afford to use that much weed. for example the bud i buy is $50 for 1/8th oz. and i try to make it last. I'd love some good recipes that call for 1/8th or 1/16th of a oz of kind bud. anyone have any?

From the experience I have had with cooking (mainly large dishes; brownies, stuffed shells, cake, etc.) I usually used a half but one thing I read when I first tried cooking a few years back (may have been from this site, I'm too lazy right now to look) is that you don't have to use good bud. If your paying $50 an eighth then you must be getting some good stuff. I have never used anything more than reggies and all my recipes worked out great!! A half may be too much to use if you are looking to make a small amount. But why don't you just make brownies? Buy a half o of some schwag and cook it in the oil that your average box of brownies calls for. Simmer the pot at medium heat for about 25-30 minutes then take a fine sieve and strain out the pot (cheese cloth works well for this but you have to wait for the oil to cool down so as not to burn yourself). After that follow the recipe like you usually would. You dont have to use a half o. You can really use any amount you like, a quarter is as small as I would go personally, but I'm a big guy and have built up quite a tolerance. Beware though, as you probably already know eating it takes longer to hit you (anywhere from 30 min on an empty stomach to an hour and a half on a full stomach) and it is more intense.

The first time I made brownies I used a half, made a 13 x 9 inch pan of them, cut them into six large pieces and ate one. I was impatient and didn't give it proper time to digest and ate another. I was high for about a day and a half. When it hit me I lost all my balance and almost fell down. I had to call out of work the next day. So be careful. Eat a small piece and see what that does to you after about an hour, if you want more, have another. The moral of this story is don't be an ass like I was and eat a third of the brownies in a 30 min span...
