Default Mayo??

has anyone here ever made mayonaise. with weed oil. and eggs?

i'm not a big mayo fan but i like it in small doses. if you heated up oil and chopped bud. and straing out the bud. then let the oil come to room temp and made mayo with it. it would most likely taste alot like the bud.

if you made some kind of egg or tuna salad with alot of mayo. you'd get pretty ripped.

I must say I had my doubts as to whether or not this would actually work, seeing as how you need a very fatty substance to do it.. and I usually use Extra Virgin Olive Oil for everything..

But apparently it contains 14g of fat per tablespoon (is that even possible!?), 12g of which are unsaturated fats, 2g saturated, no cholesterol. hmmm.

I'll give it a shot later today, expect pictures

Oh! And mindraver - try this. Take the yolks of a couple of eggs, put them in a bowl, and stir them up.. then add oil drop by drop to it until it becomes very sticky/thick.. at that point, add a bit of lemon juice and a touch of salt and/or pepper (if desired) and stir it to thin it out.. once it's all mixed together you can add a bit more oil. Keep in mind that even 2-3 small eggs can use up half a litre of oil, so go easy on the eggs. Olive oil is expensive stuff, especially premium extra virgin

Well if its as expensive as hempseed oil go buy some hempseed oil on one half batch and olive oil on the other half batch, thats what id do, not saying ya should, let us know how it is either way.

I just realized I gave some very misguided info

I gave the recipe for the actual mayonnaise and not the oil. honestly, I'm not entirely sure how one would make oil like that (unless you buy hempseed oil..) though I imagine it shouldn't be much different from cannabudder. letting the ganja cook in the oil for a period of 30-40 minutes should do it. we shall see.

I posted my method of extracting into olive oil somewhere in this forum awhile back. Can't remember if it was in it's own thread or one started by someone else, but it shouldn't be too difficult to find.

First thing's first! Prepare your oil. This shot is a little weird because:

a) it's not all of the oil I prepared, just a small part.. don't ask, I had to experiment

b) the weird glinty things on the MJ are not actually there. ignore them. that's coming back from the camera flash and the oil I think.

Follow Panama's simple-yet-elegant directions (above) to get something like this:

Get the yolks out of your egg! Now I know you're asking, "how the heck do I do that, the yolk breaks so easily I can't just pick it up can I??" And the answer to your question is: no, you cannot, unless you're a very gentle person..

So what you do is crack the egg in half but don't open it all the way! just let the egg white slowly drip out from the egg without opening it. IF you drop the yolk then your best bet is to try to pick it up with the egg shell halves, like this:
