| I want to making a batch of weed brownies and there are a lot of different recipes out there and I'm unsure which ones are reliable and which are not. I'm wondering if I used the following recipe with about 1/4 oz. of good bud, if I'm guarenteed a killer high. 1 cup butter (250 mL) 2 cups sugar (500 mL) 1/4 cup cocoa powder (60 mL) 4 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla (5 mL) 1 cup flower (250 mL) 1 cup chopped walnuts (250 mL) 1/4 oz. finely ground weed The recipe says to cook the mixed ingredients for 40 to 45 min at 350F. Will this work? Do I have enough weed? If you have any other "sure bet" recipes that will work 100%, those would also be much appreciated. Thanks. - CB85 | |

| Welcome to MJ.Com CB. This is a recipe that Panama shared with people in the recipies forum: http://cheaptalk.marijuana.com/420/s...light=brownies If that dosn't fit your taste, like if you don't want walnuts or cinnomin, i'm sure you would find what you are looking for in the "Recipies" forum. I did a search on the word "Brownies" and found a whole bunch of threads that could tell you what you need to know, such as good weed/brownie mixture ratios. http://cheaptalk.marijuana.com/420/s...by=&sortorder=

| I posted a thread in the wrong room, my bad. Sorry Panama, I know that nothing probably pisses you off more than a forum noobie posting in the wrong room OK, now to the point. I read your recipe and im wondering if 1/4 oz. would still do the job cuz i dont have 1 oz. like your recipe says. Also, what did you mean exactly by | |

| i cant reccomend cannbutter enough.... its the bomb just gently heat a stick of butter with about a litre of water in a saucepan... when its all melted add your finely chopped weed. simmer it for between 1-6 hours (the longer the better) keep adding water as it will evaporate, and if theres not enough you run the risk of burning the butter and ruining it....stir it contantly *warning* it will STINK up your whole house.... if you used leaf, strain the contents of the saucepan through a stocking, squeezing out as much butter as you can. if you used buds, then you can skip the straining step and get a more potent (albeit bad tasting) butter. now just put the mix of butter and water in the fridge, the butter will float to the top and set hard. poke a couple of holes in it, drain out the gunky water into the sink (DO NOT USE IT )the butter should be a nice green colour... and can be stored until you wanna use it... just substitute normal butter for cannabutter in any recipe your heart desires. if this doesnt work, i will eat my shoe

![]() You can do as wakDbuds suggests and use Cannabudder instead of butter or just divide the recipe by 4 and use raw weed. Just gonna merge this with your other thread. ![]() | |

| it depends on the quality of bud, a quarter of buds would be more than enough to blow your legs off but i think you would need at least an ounce of leaf to get decent butter. of course, some good leaf has resin on it, and if youre lucky enough to get this type of leaf then you wont need quite as much. youll know if your butter is good judging by how green it is. the darker, nastier shade of green, the better it is as a general rule of thumb ![]() i just made some cannabutter last night with some immature plants that i accidentally killed, it was about a quarter of poor quality leaf and stem .... there wasnt really enough THC in them to get a decent butter, i had to eat about 4 muffins to get the effects... the butter was not even green, more like a dank yellow colour.... but they still worked, amazingly enough.... these were reallly small plants... i dont think they would have done anything at all if i hadnt gone to the trouble of stewing them in butter for a few hours... cannabutter rules oh yeah, if you have a crockpot cooker lying around your house, then put the butter water and buds in there, and leave it on the lowest heat setting... i bought one from an op shop for $15 and it works like a little wonder, you can just leave it simmering away outside for as long as you want (never forget to keep the water level up, the only time i ever ruined a batch was when i forgot to add more water and it burnt a bit) good luck now im off to eat more muffins....![]() |
