I've never made cookies or anything before, and niether have any of the stoners that I know. I've got a quarter of an ounce of top quality, very effective, very expensive hydro gear, and I was thinking of putting it in cookies, but I have a few questions, I really don't want to stuff it up and waste all that weed and I'd really appreciate any advice or help that the wise people here could give me...


First of all, I heard that the best, easiest way to make cookies is to cut up your buds really really fine, put it in oil, and put in on low heat until it simmers. Then, you use the oil in whatever recipe you're using to make whatever and it will work. Is this the best way to make cookies? How much oil do I need to use, and how long do I need to heat the oil?

Secondly, is a quarter of an once (of very strong hydro) enough to make cookies? I heard that making cookies was more expensive because you needed more pot to get the same effect. How many cookies could I get out of my quart and how good would they be?

Also, is the difference between hydro and normal buds as noticable when you eat it as when you smoke it?

make the cookies from scratch but instead of using normal flour use "green flour" hehe

grind up your bud in to a fine green powderin a coffee grinder or somthing that compares make sure its as fine as flour and then have fun with cannabis cookies!

G__, each recipe is different in what ingredients are used and how they're prepared. I know of very few recipes that call for oil, what is usually used in cookies is butter. You can always substitute one ingredient for another, but you may end up with a cookie sheet full of crappy tasting cookies that get you high.
