Today I made my first pot brownies ever. They worked pretty good, but nothing like I was expecting from what I've looked up. I first made some cannabutter by boiling about 2 cups of water then putting 1/2 cup of butter in the water then adding about 10 grams of some pretty decent bud which I broke up really good. I put the stove on med after I put the weed in there and let it boil for about 40 minutes. Then I strained the pot out using some cheesecloth and got all the juice out of it. I put it in the freezer until the butter had hardened on top and I threw away the water. I had a bit more than 1/3 cup of butter which is what I needed for the brownie mix. I used butter instead of oil because I've heard it works better. From there I followed the instructions for the brownies. I cut it into about 12 eaual pieces and ate 2, but didn't feel anywhere near as high as smoking a bowl. Any suggestions on making them better next time??

you dont want the cannabutter to be boiling at any time. you said you boiled it for 40 minutes? i think you just want it to simmer for that long maybe.

Yeah, Satanicus is right, you definitely boiled off all the THC.

They're right, Try just frinding up the pot and throwing it in the mix. May not taste too great but it does the trick

yes it will get you high, but your wasting a whole bunch of weed. cannabutter done correctly is very efficient and will **** you up.

read up on makin cannabutter on marijuana.coms recipes my girl says you use to much water and not enough weed maybe but look it up there it works and tatse good with the cookies.

If you're new to cooking with marijuana maybe it would be best you tried to make something like Firecrackers. They're quick and easy and it's almost impossible to go wrong.

It's what I did first time I cooked with weed and I was so gone for hours, I ended up falling asleep on the bathroom floor.
