My mom is going away again for a few days, and what perfect timing it is! On the 20th, me and some buds are going to this farm down south to pick these Oyster Mushrooms. Now from what i hear, you can get a large load, like 3 pounds for just 10$! So, seeing that my mom will be gone from the 23-27th, i intend on cooking these guys up. But i need a recipe.

I went to foodtv.com, and found some good ideas, but i was wondering if you guys had some better ones, and yes i do want to add cannabis to the fungus! would i just do a canna oil, or actually cook the buds with the fungus in the pan.

It's actually rather simple.

First off you simply cook down the mushrooms in some LIGHT olive oil. Then you take one can of tomatoes, cut up and put them into the pan. I am going to figure out the seasoning when it comes time. But that is the general idea. And then i am going to server it over penne(sp?) pasta.

I am still debating wether or not to add marijuana as seasoning, but i think i will leave it out. I want to enjoy the full flavor of this dish, pot usually adds a completely different taste, expecially the stuff i smoke. Plus we are driving 100 or so miles south for these guys, and i don't want to blow it But i plan on picking and buying a whole lot to experement!
