| I love root vegetables. I had friends over for dinner a while ago and I roasted some beets, parsnips, carrots, and sweet potatoes. They had just put in a DVD when the vegetables were ready and I had sudden second-thoughts about what I was about to serve them. Root vegetables, for a movie? What kind of bullshit am I about to pull on these people? I should just throw this stuff out and make some pop-corn. They devoured it in minutes and asked me to make another batch! ![]()

| I really like hummus when I take enough time to make it homemade. Also the hands down best thing I ever have made when I was high and is good for you is a smoothie. Here is the recipe. Fruit one: 1-2 frozen medium bananas (smash them up in a ziplock baggie and throw them in the freezer. Add a few drops of lemon juice to prevent browning) or a cup of frozen peaches. Really any thicker fruit that is similar. Fruit two: 1 1/2-2 cups of frozen berries. Any kind will do I usually buy a mix from the frozen food section. Yogurt: 1 cup (I usually use danon activia light vanilla) Soy Milk: This is added to adjust thickness (Silk light vanilla) Put all of the frozen fruit in a blender and give it a quick hit to start the process. Add the yogurt continue blending until thoroughly blended. You can add soy milk to adjust the thickness at this point. A blender with an opening where you can fit a tool down to manually mix is good. Just do not stick something in when it is on. It seriously is the best thing ever. Go on. Try it now. |

| Got this in my email. I thought it was amazing. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik....1&disp=emb&zwA sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... And YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik....2&disp=emb&zwA Tomato has four chambers and is red The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik....3&disp=emb&zwGrapeshang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik....4&disp=emb&zwA Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik....5&disp=emb&zwKidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik....6&disp=emb&zwCelery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik....7&disp=emb&zwAvocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them). http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik....8&disp=emb&zwFigs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik....9&disp=emb&zwSweet Potatoeslook like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik...10&disp=emb&zwOlivesassist the health and function of the ovaries http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik...11&disp=emb&zwOranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik...12&disp=emb&zwOnionslook like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body. This Avocadoe Sunshine sandwich is also something I like to make: Two slices of bread spread with avacado on one half and low fat mayo on the other. Sprinkle each half with garlic powder and oregano. Put A slice of tomato, some sliced cucumbers and chopped green onions inside and eat. Delicious. |

| Man do I fucking love lemons lately. Actually anything lemon really, but I've been known for the past few weeks to usually grab a lemon after meals for dessert or for a small snack at night sometime. Throw a lemon in the freezer for about 15 minutes to get a nice chill, MMMMMMM. All that acid isn't good for your teeth but man is it worth it.
