I'm gonna use 10 dallors(2 bags of mj) worth of weed and make it into food to eat.

Will this be enough? I looked up other recipes and it says i need a half a ounce, but I dont wanna spend more than 10 dallors.

I'm gonna cook butter or veg oil with the weed, and make brownies with it.
What size of brownies can I make for say 2 or 3 people with 10 dollars worth of weed? Is this enough for all of us to get high?

You dont even have an 8th, thats not gunna work for 3 people.

If ya got 3 people then you need to at least buy a 25$ sack. It is worth it man. You know how when you smoke your head feels all light and shit? Well imagine your whole body feeling that way. Tell me how it goes. :-D

Well I basically made cannabutter with about 25 bucks worth of weed you can make cannabutter out of 2 sticks of butter. So whatever you make with that need to require about 2 sticks of butter.

I made a batch of cookies myself. When they were done it would take about 2 cookies to get me good and stoned. When I used 25 bucks worht and 4 sticks of butter it took 4 cookies to get me baked. I didnt' like that because, seriously pot food aint the best tasting. So i'd go for more concentrated if I were you. Eat less to get just as stoned.

I just simmered the butter on the stove for about a half hour with the weed sitting in it then strained with cheese cloth. worked like a charm.

Also since you are cooking with it you don' have to get good weed. You can buy some cheap ass weed and it will work fine. Just takes more of it. But since you dont actually have to smoke it, who cares.

A way better method is to use a double boiler system, if you just heat 2 sticks of butter in a pot/pan and drop some bud in, you're going to end up with about 1/3 of your THC getting burned, and when that happens, your body can't metabolize it. (No getting high off of that burned THC)


If you MUST do it without a double boiler, I would strongly suggest filling a pot 1/2 way full with water, getting it to a rolling boil, dropping a stick of butter in then letting that get all melted, drop the bud in, Leave until satisfied, strain out the bud, put in a jar. Then, put the fridge in the jar to cool for about an hour or two until there is a nice layer of solid slime on the top - scrape the slime off, pour the water out, cook the slime into your favorite food!

Well, it also depends.. saying $10 doesn't help much. Weed is priced differently everywhere you go. Would be best to say how many grams.

I spent $30 last week and got 9 grams of some decent stuff. Spent $50 this week on 15.6 grams of kick-ass stuff. So it varies a lot.

So basically I payed the price of schwag (normal schwag around here is $25 a quarter, $50 a half) and got good stuff.

Nah when you are cooking it doesn't matter so much what the quality is. You can get some crappy weed and wind up paying 50 bucks an ounce for it. Or you can get some sweet weed and pay 50 bucks for 1/8th. When it comes to cooking I've found that quality doesn't matter so much. The crappy bud has roughtly as much THC as the good bud you just gotta smoke alot more to get at it. When you are cooking though, you are using the food to retreive the THC so there is no smoking so quantity means nothing really.

So when it comes to cooking, 25 bucks worth of weed is enough regardless of quality. I suggest using crappy bud just cuz I think it is more cost effective when you cook. Save the good bud for smoking.
