Um pot loli pops? Wheres the pot in this recipe? Well you could make regular ice pops...if you really wanted too.

this is kind of off topic but not really. How cool would it be if there was a way to make a thc blow pop. so you could suck on it while doing whatever, and it would get you high. That would be pretty cool.

Hmm. I'm doubting there is any fat in lollipops. You could put some in though, to attach to the THC.

Melt some sugar, put in some flavour, and dry it. I'm sure that's the simplest way to make a hard candy. Might not taste good though. For special 'pops. Just make extra strong budder and pour some in the liquid sugar.

1 cup sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 tablespoons water
1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar
1/4 cup butter (pot butter if you please)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons cannabis tincture (soak gound up pot in 3x distilled vodka in a warm, dark, air tight container for a couple of weeks, the "juice" is the tincture)

Directions
Line several baking sheets with waxed paper; or get a $2 lollipop form. Use butter to grease the sides of a heavy 1-quart saucepan. In the saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, water and vinegar. Cook over medium heat to boiling, stirring constantly and slowly with a wooden spoon to dissolve the sugar. Avoid splashing the mixture on the sides of the pan. Carefully clip a candy thermometer to the side of the saucepan. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, while adding the butter a tablespoon at a time. Continue cooking the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the thermometer registers 300º F, hard-crack stage. Reaching hard-crack stage should take 25 to 30 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from the heat; remove the thermometer. Stir in the vanilla extract and cannabis tincture. Cool for 5 minutes. Pour the mixture, 1 to 2 tablespoons at a time, onto the prepared baking sheets or forms. The mixture will make 2 to 3 inch circles. Quickly place a lollipop stick into each piece of candy, twisting gently to cover with the candy mixture. Let the lollipops harden. Wrap the lollipops individually in clear plastic wrap to store at room temperature. Makes 12 lollipops.

Sounds like a good recipe. Have you tried it?

I'm wondering about this: thc molecules adhere or bond to fat molecules and alcohol molecules. Both fat and alcohol are carbohydrate molecules and so is sugar. It's possible that sugar (honey, syrup) might be an effective vehicle for thc ingestion as the other two.

So:
a solution of water and white sugar and a healthy dose of pot. Boil half hour (til I guess the thc is away from the plant and bonded with the sugar). then continue to boil until water boils off (and I presume the sugar will hit some kind of soft candy stage). Obviously great care must be taken so the sugar doesn't burn, which it will do very quickly. But the resulting sugar/candy concoction might have thc bonded into it and so you could use it to make butterless candy.
