| im gonna be making cannabutter soon and was wondering how strong the smell would be. im gonna use the boil water and butter together method. then im gonna make brownies...will those just smell like brownies or differently? if it does smell strong i need a way to handle the smell...my parents wouldnt be happy if they knew i was doing this. my kitchen is shaped like this | x | | | | | x |___ | | | |________| the oven is right above the x on the left. my parents room is down the hallway(the hallways on top) to the right and the bottom right is the backdoor if i opened the back door and put fans and turned on the fan above the stove, how would that do for the smell? Last edited by matjb1231 : 09-30-2007 at 05:24 AM. Reason: ok so the picture of my kitchen came out wrong, just imagine the top part is a bit wider and the x is in the middle |

| The only advice I can give is to do it when they'll be out for the day. Buy them tickets to the cinema to get them outta your way? Tell how the cookies go! Oh have a spray can of Oust! handy. |

| ya there is no way to realy cover the smell if they come down for about an hour after your done so if there going to be in the house within about 2 hours or less then i would just recomend waiting with out ventalation they WILL stink up your whole house for a while and oust and a lot of fabreeze would be the best defence against the smell |

| Do you have a friend whom you would let in on them, in order to use his kitchen? Get your shit set, buy your own bakepan and find a day when you know they won't be home, man. If you want to be as cautious as possible, which it sounds like, go with LazyFingers' advice and use Oust Air Sanitizer, and I would suggest putting two fans up. One facing out your kitchen window, to push the air out, and one at another window, to get fresh air in. *shrugs* That's how I've ventilated my rooms from the smell of pot. |
