Ok, well i just bought a QP today, and i de-stemmed it all, and got around 4.5-5 grams in stems, i was wondering, can i make anything with these? The weed was just ordinary mids, nothing special about it.

I've made some nice tea with stems.
Other than that I'll occasionally leave them as a treat for the birds...

I have a ziploc bag half way full of stems. At one point in time it was totally full but I grinded them up to make room. I plan on saving it full of crushed stems, which I imagine is going to weigh quite alot, and making some iso hash, or brownies or even tea with them. Not really a waste if you save all the ones that are worth it, and stay patient...

Does the tea taste good though? Do you add other tea flavors in there or just the stems?

The general consensus is that stems make decent tea... can't smoke them, and the tea doesn't get you high.

Well of course that is wholly subjective

However, in my case, most teas I appreciate for their native self w/o anything to enhance or detract (as the case may be).

I've found over what is starting to seem like a gazillion years that strains these days are more and more tasty,
and when I augment the stems with some dried leaves then not only are the flavors more enhanced
but it makes for a clean subtle high as well...

I was recently surprised to find that the stems have a lot of trichomes on them. I hadn't seen a live plant in a long time and back then I didn't know what to look for. I saw one recently and the stems were covered with trics. I have no idea if they're as potent as the trics on the buds. The books say that every part of the plant contains THC except for the roots and seeds.

And back in the Golden Era, the 60's, we did everything we could not to waste any part of the grass we got a hold of.
Remember Buzzby? Those were the days eh?

The strains we purchased or grew were so much less potent than those these past years that stems-into-tea was more of a ritual than anything else.

Now is a whole other matter...

you can smoke the stems or make cannabis oil or grind them realy fine and add to brownys or make tea or vape the stems would probably be best it your going to smoke them chew on them they taste good(sometimes) or use them to make a little bit of kif

I just smoked a stem from a bud because I read this thread and I'm out of weed but have been saving stems. My result is a weak, but noticeable high. If I were to smoke a bunch of these (gross) it might be enough to get blazed.
