| Well, from what I have learned, you need to use BUTTER to trap the THC. Although ,I'm not sure ,but maybe a non fat cooking oil could work (like olive oil, or , canola) or something . What do you think boy's ?

| Low saturated fat and heart healthy oils work just as well... Olive oil is wonderful...cook about a 1cup to 1cup ratio of olive oil to canola and add 2 tblspoons of butter cook with 1/4 cup weed flour at a low bubble rate stirring with a wooden spoon After about 4 minutes 20 seconds , lower the heat ...strain into a bowl and if you want completely clear green canna butter, strain again through a coffee filter in a strainer. Okay, that's it...use that oil mixture for any sauces, dressings, any time you are cooking with oil. Enjoy. | |

| yup! that's pulverized mature leaves and small stems being recycled in cooking by grinding it into a fine powder in a coffee grinder. That gets cooked in a high lipid oil or butter or margarine to which the thC and other cannabinoids bind...strain out the plant matter, you got canna butter, or oil, or margarine. The more concentrated, the more you can store in a smaller amount of space. Since you can freeze butter and margarine, those are what I use first to "boil" the flour...then I soak the flour again (peel off the coffee filter and re "boil" the mashed flour) in low slow bubbling oil of my choice. That's the second "pressing" so to speak. This is great mixed with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar and ome fresh herbs on a plate , and dip french bread...or drizzled over sliced of fresh mozarella and ripe tomatoe slices. ...a good sweet for after dinner is Peanut Butter Cups ![]() Hugz, Mama Budz | |

| Wow. I thought you need fat for it too work! you could just concentrate it. Like...a teaspoon of butter per ounce of weed ![]() I have to use the oil recipe though mamabudz..maybe for a really nice salad dressing!

| Yup... But a teaspoon of butter for Ouncxe of weed? nope try Ounce of weed and a stick of butter...or a 1/2 cup of oil Pulverize the weed Heat it to just below boiling...DON'T BURN THE BUTTER or OIL Kepp stirring for about 10 minutes Strain it into a large bowl using a regular strainer that fits all the way into the bowl ... with a coffee filter placed into the strainer..the coffee filter allows the butter to drip through and holds back all the weed. If the filter turns green...you have enough "Good Stuff" in your weed for you to do another 1/2 cup or mor of oil or stick or more of butter with that same weed! Just do the same procedure again with the now thorougly soaked weed flour...strain... Butter will harden in the fridge... Oil will get a bit more gelatinous in the fridge...but shouldn't harden solid Use a teaspoon in your cooking ...and a teaspoon of oil in any food won't add too many extra calories so it is still low-cal Hugz, Mama Budz Even | |
