I hope this is what you are looking for. ![]() Title: Swarma (Shawerma)-Egyptian Yield: 1 Serving Ingredients: 1 lb filet mignon 1 1/2 ts bohar; (all spice) 1 tsp sumac; (lemony flavored -- spice - can also use a few squeezes of lemon) 1/4 ts pepper 1 tbsp oil; up to 2 2 md tomatoes; (diced) 1 sm onion; (sliced very thin) Instructions: Instructions: Slice meat on a bias very thin. Then slice into julienne strips. Mix together all the dry spices and sprinkle on top of the meat. Add the oil and stir. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour. Heat a frying pan or wok. When hot add a little oil and heat. When hot, add some of the meat to form a single layer, so it is not crowded in the pan Continue to fry on the hottest heat possible, and turn the meat over so it cooks quite quickly. About 2 minutes. Remove and place on a dish. Repeat until all the meat is cooked. Add to the pan the onions and tomatoes, cook for 1/2 minute. Add the already cooked meat. Mix completely. Serve, on bread with some tahina

![]() Rosemary Lemon Pepper Chicken Ingredients: 3 lemons 2 tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary 2 tsp. olive oil 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper, coarsely ground 1 minced clove garlic 2 boneless skinless whole chicken breasts Using a grater, grate the peel from one lemon and reserve in a small bowl. Slice all of the lemons in half. Thinly slice one of the halves and set aside. Squeeze all of the juice from the remaining lemons into the bowl with the lemon peel. Remove any seeds that may have fallen into the juice. Add the rosemary, olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic. Mix well. Liberally spray a medium heavy skillet with cooking spray. Over medium high heat lightly brown the chicken on each side. Add the lemon juice mixture to the pan and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Flip the chicken over and continue to cook until the chicken is thoroughly cooked (when the juices run clear when pierced and the flesh is no longer pink in the thickest part of the chicken breast). Toss the lemon slices into the pan and cook for a minute more. Serve hot. | |
