| I eat a lot of rice and lentils and chickpeas and other vegetables and I exercise. Meat's good, too. Just stay active and avoid the junk. pretty straight forward. after a while of eating vegetables, you will find that your taste buds adapt and you'll need less greasy or sugary food.

| We eat a lot of whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, lean meats. Mostly chicken and pork. I like to snack on fruit, and Fig Newton's are a great snack too. ![]() |

| Go to Trader Joes if there is one near you. Trader Joes can be good but it can also be very dangerous, because it is run by stoners, for stoners....I really like their dried mangoes and dried bananas (not the freeze dried kind) They also have these great mochi ice cream balls, they are small, but you only need one or two....other good munchies are dark chocolate, but stick with rich chocolate truffles and such, you wont consume as much fat as you would with an entire candy bar because they are richer, so you eat less.... Nuts have a lot of protein in them, so they will make and keep you full. Also, eat an apple an hour before dinner, this will make you not as hungry, so you will eat less. Make sure you get lots of good carbs throughout the day, but especially in the morning, or before you are going to be the most active, and balance it with protein throughout the day, but especially at night to keep you satisfied until morning, so you will not overeat at breakfast. |

| One of my favorite stoner snacks that is relatively healthy is a lean steak fajita. I drop a little bit of extra virgin olive oil in the pan, heat it to just less than medium, get some cube steaks, slice them into long strips and then cut the strips in half and toss them in. Then get a green pepper and an onion and slice them up and put them in as well. You can flavor it with whatever you want to flavor it with. (I use chili powder, garlic powder and sage) Wrap this up in whole wheat tortilla and you are good to go. Very tasty and relatively healthy by comparison with most stoner food. |

| What is kashi cereal and how is it different from any of your garden variety (no pun intended) cereals? Good idea about blazing up and eating fruit salad tho! ![]()

Kashi cereal is organic, but that's not why I eat it. It just tastes better, and it's more nutritious than a lot of the other cereal's, especially the cereal's loaded with sugar. | |

| Here is my theory: people don't get the munchies, people get the tasties! Whenever I find myself digging into a 1/2 gallon of raspberry chip ice cream, I remember that, and focus on making the flavor of each bite last as long as possible, rather than pure quantity. Somehow this works much better when I'm stoned. It's also good to shop when you are feeling in a healthy food, cuz it's much easier to have healthy munchies if that's what you keep around. In terms of the best, healthy munchie food period, for me it's a lollipop or tootsie roll pop. It lasts for-ever, and very low calorie! Just don't crunch into it like that owl - |
