Hi!

I was thinking, since people make cannabutter, would it be possible to make cannachocolate?

If I understand correctly, people use butter because THC is fat soluble.

Sooo.... could you use chocolate in place of the butter? Chocolate has a bunch of fat in it.
If you can, I was thinking of making marijuana smores or something else that uses chocolate in the recipe.


Good idea? Bad idea? Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I personally think the chocolate idea is kickass. its just making smores seems a bit dull. Maybe some cannafudge?

chill my firend, sometimes it takes til the weekend for me to have time to come in here and play chef!

Canna Chocolate... great idea... BUT...better to make the canna butter and then add it to the chocolate.

One step of making cannabutter is straining out the grains of "weed flour" (the pulverized weed/sticks/leaves you simmer in butter or oil to release the THC and all the other cannabinoid goodies into the lipid [fat] rich butter or oil)

By straining out the pulverized mashed mass of plant matter that is now THC-less, and tossing that away (or use it in making fiber rich muffins, or in tomatoe sauces, good way to add fiber to the fiber deprioved modern diet) -- you end up with a pure product with no grit or residue.

Cool the cannbudder to a semi solid and mix with 10x Confectioner's sugar and you get Canna-glaze for cookies and sweet rolls... More sugar and you have icing/frosting.

If you mix the icing/frosting (same thing, different names depending on where you are from) with melted milk choclate you have "ganache"...which is choclate candy base and you can do just about anything with that...

I like making Peanut Butter Cups read all the way to the end for my Kitchen Tested recipe ...

Of course anything that uses butter is a good canna recipe...grahamn cracker crusts take lots of butter so they are a good bet too...and then fill your little crusts with anything you want ...vanilla pudding and bannas is good!

Mama's right,.......patience is a necessity sometimes we have as many different ways to use marijuana in food that,once you decide what to cook you can more easily determine how to prepare the special ingredient.
I use nothing but pure bud in my recipes,ground by an automatic 12 setting coffee grinder.That way i dispense with the task of making cannabutter.I can also limit the potency per individual serving,making it especially convienent when cooking for a group where not everyone would appreciate the buzz,or the slightly earthy taste.
However you choose to do it,rest assured,answers to your questions are here.............somewhere.........if you wait........ well they were here.............
If you have pure bud: a recipe calling for Bakers chocolate,from my experience,requires 1 gram of espresso ground medicinal grade, bud per oz. of chocolate.
That can be found in my personal brownie recipe.........somewhere b.s.
