Captain Pluto

I've used "pot butter" to make various different baked goods for "happy" consumption.

This recipe is really for those who are growing and have a abundance of shake around.

I take all my shake (including some of the larger bud leaves) and make pot butter for baking and/or other uses.

It is really simple to make:


1 pound dried shake (this amount can be varied widely)

2 pounds of salted or unsalted butter

Double Boiler



Take your shake and grind it finely in either a blender or food processor.

Next, melt the butter slowly in a double boiler making sure that it is not burned or heated too hot where it smokes.

Stir the butter constantly until melted and then add in shake a little at a time until mixture has a thin layer of butter covering the leaf.

Stir constantly making sure the double boiler doesn't overheat the mixture.

Cook for at least 45 minutes to an hour (up to an hour and a half may extract more THC into the butter.

After, strain the material through a strainer squeezing all excess butter from the leafy material.

Let butter cool preferably overnight and use like regular butter.

This butter is perfect for making butter cookies like nutty nuggets (perfect for X'mas with their green hue) and the taste is excellent as well.

I made the stoniest cookies ever using this recipie and my parrot ate one cookie by himself! Needless to say, he was super stoned the whole day since these cookies made the heaviest smokers like me really super stoned!

He was intent on getting this cookie and wouldn't relent until he finally grabbed one and downed it.

I would not WASTE a cookie on any animal
