| I know that there are a shit load of these topics already, but this one is different. Does anyone know if one can put weed in to make cooked rice? Ive cooked with weed a few times already but its always been with oil/sauce. But can one cook rice with weed and does the THC absorb into the rice? If it does work how much would you need for 1 cup of uncooked rice to 1 1/4 cup water, steamed for 45 mins. Its not that I don't want to try it out on my own, but I don't want to wast it. Thanks, if this has already been posted sorry. |

| Moved to the Culinary forum. Please make an effort to find an appropriate forum for your topic instead of "sumping" it in the 420 Lounge. That said, cooking weed into rice isn't going to accomplish much, I don't think. THC from the marijuana is soluable in fat, and the rice has very little. Now, if you make cannabutter and mix some of the cannabutter into the rice during cooking, that would have the desired effect, I'm sure. Another option is to make a butter or cream-based sauce and put that over the rice after it has cooked.
