I think everyone can take something from this story. Next time you tell yourself "I cant do this" take a look at this story. Ill admit, Im healthy as a fox (minus whatever the smoking/drinking has done), and Id never attempt this. These Ironman's aren't the run of the mill marathon where you run 20 miles, its sheer punishment. Ive watched them a few times on OLN and simply wonder what it takes.

I run, I bike, and I swim, but covering 150 miles in a couple hours is something else. Its hard on a healthy person, but what about a transplant recipient? Kudos to this guy, and anyone else who has done the same, for not letting his troubles leave him on the couch. Like I said, these people need a whole different kind of respect in my eyes.

didnt read the whole article. started to get bored.

but am i the only one who thinks doing an iron man competition is about the dumbest thing you could do after getting a heart transplant?
